This course introduces participants to many of the concepts found on the PMP and CAPM certification exams. The course uses the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge Fifth Edition as the source material, thus aligning with the current certification exams released in 2011. Participants will earn 35 (contact hours) PDUs upon completing this course. The PMP certification is authored and maintained by the Project Management Institute, a non-profit organization that collects and disseminates project management best practices. Over 500,000 people in 180 countries hold the PMP credential. The PMP exam is generally viewed as notoriously difficult.
