Course OverviewThis one-day, fast-paced course is ideal for people who have had little or no experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or Active Directory (AD) but require a foundational level understanding in order to successfully implement or support AD-dependant technologies such as Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint and other products that may depend on Windows Server 2008 R2 and/or Active Directory. AudienceIT and non-IT people responsible for supporting Active Directory dependant applications such as Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL, SharePoint, etc… that do not support or manage Windows Server 2008 R2 or Active Directory but need to be able to use them.PrerequisitesBefore attending this course, students are expected to have: 1 year of experience working with Windows 7 client operating system and the following technologies: • Windows Explorer  Create a shared folder Copy, move, paste files and/or folders• Control Panel  Configure a network adapter for dynamic or static IP address
